On June 3rd, Willy Foundation alongside Spanish Lakes Elementary hosted a farewell picnic for the 5th grade class.

This event also allowed us to carry the memory of Willy, we talked to the students about his legacy and the values he effortlessly taught his peers. As we continue to host these events, the memory of Willy lives on.
The students were able to have breakfast, play, dance to a DJ and share many memories with their friends before they ended their journey in elementary school. Our purpose for any of the events we host is to allow children to create amazing memories, while also taking the opportunity to talk to them about the importance of continuing their journey on to middle school carrying kindness, generosity and patience.
