On May 31 and June 1, 2023, Willy Foundation , together with the principal and assistant principal of Spanish Lake Elementary School, once again presented the William Castro Apple Award created in 2017 at the school in memory of William (Willy) Castro. This year the children selected were Elias Jirón and Yan Villarejo
These two 5th grade graduates exude qualities such as generosity, kindness, friendship, determination, perseverance and endless love, qualities marked in Willy’s life.
Willy Foundation congratulates them and encourages them not only to focus on developing their academic achievements, but also to lead their school life with a good heart and a positive attitude, because it always brings them personal growth.
